With 25 Years of Entertainment Marketing Experience, The Former BMG SVP Will Lead Operations and Revenue Strategy for the Creative Communications Firm

NEW YORK, MARCH 24, 2026 - Shore Fire Media, a leading creative communications firm and subsidiary of Dolphin (NASDAQ: DLPN), today announced the appointment of Angela Barkan to CEO. Barkan will run Shore Fire's day-to-day operations and new revenue strategy from the company's headquarters in New York City - leading its executive team and reporting to Dolphin CEO Bill O'Dowd as well as founder and former CEO Marilyn Laverty, who announced her new roles as chairman to Shore Fire and senior advisor to Dolphin.

Named one of Billboard's top "Women in Music" in 2022, Barkan served as a senior vice president in several business development and marketing roles at BMG. Before joining BMG, she held leadership roles in marketing, brand partnerships and public relations at various Sony Music labels. Barkan is a member of the Arts Committee for the City Parks Foundation's SummerStage and has served as a co-chair of its annual gala. She has also spoken at international music conferences and participated on juries for the Effie Awards and Clio Awards. Barkan holds an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business and a bachelor's degree from Cornell University.
