Lombardo getting out of ticket: "Come on, man"

New body camera footage shows Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo thinking he's above the law by simply saying "I'm Joe Lombardo" and "Come on, man" after getting pulled over by a police officer.

DGA spokesperson Olivia Davis said: "This video is more proof that Joe Lombardo is a corrupt and out-of-touch politician who thinks he can play by a different set of rules than everyday Nevadans. Lombardo needs to explain why he thinks simply saying his name will get him out of trouble."

Fox 5 Vegas: Nevada Gov. Lombardo stopped by LVMPD for alleged red light violation

  • Body camera footage newly released and obtained by the Associated Press shows Nevada Gov. Joe Lombardo was pulled over by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department on May 15.
  • In the video, a Metro sergeant approaches Lombardo's vehicle and explains the reason for the stop: "The reason I'm stopping you is for the red light violation back there - your right turn onto Giles here."
  • Lombardo identifies himself during the stop, saying, "I'm Joe Lombardo." The sergeant responds, "I'm aware," and then tells him, "You're good to go, sir, appreciate you. Have a good day."
  • It's unclear whether Lombardo was issued a citation.
