I-44 westbound off-ramp at Exit 172 to close at noon today

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - A towing company plans to begin the removal of a vehicle, its contents, and debris following a recent crash on Interstate 44 near Exit 172. The removal will take place over several days and is scheduled to begin at noon today, Tuesday, March 24, with the closure of the westbound off-ramp at Exit 172 (Route D/Jerome). The ramp will close at 12 p.m. today, March 24, and is scheduled to reopen by 7 a.m. Wednesday, March 25. During the closure, motorists will need to use an alternate route. While the removal is scheduled to take several days, this one-night ramp closure is the only expected impact to traffic.
