Temporary Closure – James A. Goodwin Riverfront Park Playground
NOTICE: Temporary Closure - James A. Goodwin Riverfront Park Playground
Closure Dates: Monday, October 13 - Monday, November 17, 2025 (weather permitting)
The James A. Goodwin Riverfront Park playground will be temporarily closed, beginning Monday, October 13, 2025, as it undergoes scheduled renovations. The project includes replacing the safety surface, repairing equipment, and making site improvements. For everyone's safety, the playground area will be unavailable during this time. Please follow posted signage and help keep children and pets safe by avoiding the construction area.
All other areas of the James A. Goodwin Riverfront Park will remain open for you to enjoy. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to create a better playground for everyone to enjoy.
