Rehab work begins on Harrison St. bridge
(April 4, 2025) The Iowa Department of Transportation will begin rehabilitation work on the Harrison St. bridge over Duck Creek on April 7, 2025.
During construction, travel will be limited to two lanes lanes between W 35th and W 32nd Streets.
The Duck Creek Recreational Trail under the bridge will be closed. Runners and cyclists can use the new temporary connection on the street level, with the help of a pedestrian signal to cross Harrison St.
The Iowa DOT estimates work will be complete in November.
