At the June 16 Flossmoor Board of Trustees meeting, Village Clerk Gina LoGalbo announced her resignation from the Board, due to increasing responsibilities in her professional career. Mayor Michelle Nelson and Trustees thanked Clerk LoGalbo for her service to the community of Flossmoor in this role and in others. They also announced that the remainder of her term (through May 2027) will be open to applicants. See application information below:
Are you passionate about serving Flossmoor? Now is the time to consider bringing your time and talents to the Village Board of Trustees! The Village of Flossmoor is seeking applicants who live in Flossmoor to fill the unexpired term of Village Clerk through May 2027. The position, which will be appointed by Mayor Nelson, will be on the ballot in the 2027 local election. The Village Clerk is a non-voting member of the Village Board who is responsible for recording votes, taking Board meeting minutes, and attesting signatures on various Village documents. The Clerk works closely with the Village Manager and her staff. Interested residents should submit a resume and letter of interest to the attention of Mayor Michelle Nelson by emailing info@flossmoor.org with "Village Clerk Application" in the subject line. The deadline to apply is midnight on Monday, July 7, 2025.
