Housing Alexandria to host Shared Equity Homeownership Program Orientation

Housing Alexandria, an Alexandria-based affordable housing provider, will host a virtual orientation on its Shared Equity Homeownership Program (SEHP) on Tuesday July 28 at 7 p.m. Subsequent SEHP orientations will be held once a month for interested homebuyers to learn about the homebuying process, responsibilities of the homeowner, and resale process. Attending a SEHP orientation is a requirement to purchase a Housing Alexandria home, including the upcoming Hart House. Hart House, a 12-unit community currently under construction along Seminary Road, will provide five affordable two-bedroom/two-bath condominiums units priced at $275,000. The application process for the Hart House is expected to open at the end of this year.
