Baker McKenzie has appointed two new co-chairs of its Investigations, Compliance & Ethics practice in London, Yindi Gesinde, and Henry Garfield.
Both Yindi and Henry trained at the Firm and are partners in the London Dispute Resolution team.
Yindi's practice includes complex and high-value international and domestic commercial litigation and investigations for multinational clients, with specialist expertise in anti-bribery and corruption investigations and advising on corporate compliance.
Henry's focus is on white collar crime, internal investigations, fraud and asset tracing, often spanning multiple jurisdictions and industry sectors. He regularly advises companies on compliance issues, including their exposure under the Bribery Act 2010 and the UK's anti-money laundering legislation.
Baker McKenzie's Investigations, Compliance and Ethics practice conducts multi-layered and multi-jurisdictional investigations whilst providing risk and reputation management advice. The team advises on anti-bribery and corruption, trade compliance, sanctions, financial regulatory, health and safety, workplace culture investigations, regulatory conformance reviews and other regulatory enforcement and white-collar crime matters.
Andy Moody, who heads Baker McKenzie's Dispute Resolution practice in London, said:
"Yindi and Henry are talented practitioners, expert in the particular facets of investigations, compliance and ethics we see our clients increasingly demand. With complementary skillsets, I am excited to see how this practice flourishes under their leadership."
