 October 20, 2026

The Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI) hosted a delegation from Youth Parliament, led by Mr. Rizwan Jaffar, Founder and Chairman of Youth Parliament. The visit was part of Youth Parliament's one-year leadership and political training program and provided an opportunity for the young participants to learn about ISSI's work in research, policy analysis, and international affairs.

Dr. Talat Shabbir, Director of the China-Pakistan Study Centre (CPSC) at ISSI, briefed the delegation on the Institute's objectives, research activities, and engagement with national and international institutions.

Ambassador Moin ul Haque, Director General ISSI, also joined the interactive session and responded to a range of questions raised by the participants on contemporary strategic and international issues. He appreciated Youth Parliament's efforts to provide young people with opportunities for learning, engagement, and leadership development.

The visit concluded with the exchange of mementos and ISSI publications with the visiting delegation.
