The Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, has signed an agreement with the President of Sichuan University to promote the teaching, study and use of Spanish and to contribute to the dissemination of culture, as well as other programmes for exchange and collaboration between the Cervantes Institute and Sichuan University.
During the day, Albares also took part in the official reception and subsequent meeting between the President of the Republic, Xi Jinping, and King Felipe VI.
