Apply for an Authorised Money Changer (AMC) License Online

Under the Financial Services Act of Bhutan, 2011, any individual or business intending to provide financial services in Bhutan must obtain a licence from the Royal Monetary Authority of Bhutan (RMA) before commencing operations.

With immediate effect, all new AMC licence applications must be submitted through the RMA's online portal at https://amc.rma.org.bt/login. Physical submission of application documents will no longer be accepted at any RMA office.
