Statement from the Office of Senator King on the Federal Law Enforcement Shooting in Minnesota

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, the office of U.S. Senator Angus King (I-ME) released the following statement following the federal law enforcement shooting in Minnesota:

"Senator King has watched the video footage from Minnesota extensively. Based on this footage, he sees no clear evidence of threats or potential harm to the officer in question. That said, Senator King is a staunch advocate of due process and believes that a full, impartial investigation should take place to determine the facts of the case."
