The Board of Supervisors Approve Four Proclamations

The Board approved four proclamations. Firstly, they recognized the Pinal County AmeriCorps NCCC members for their dedication and impactful contributions to the county and the nation. Pictured with Supervisors Vitiello, McClure, Miller, and Serdy below are Tretan Wheeler, Abby Verga, Ben Fowler, Nick Motta, Ava Spenser, and Mackenzie Rich. Supervisor Goodman was not in attendance due to a family bereavement.

Secondly, they proclaimed the week of April 21st through April 28th, as "International Dark Sky Week" in Pinal County. Thirdly, the Board approved the National Crime Victims' Rights Proclamation to declare the week of April 6 through 12, 2025, as "National Crime Victims' Rights Week" in recognition of the ongoing national observance honoring crime victims. Finally, the Board approved of proclaiming the week of April 7 through 13, 2025, as "National Public Health Week." This year is the 30th anniversary of celebrating National Public Health Week, and in the past 30 years, significant strides have been made in public health.
