Alameda County - Caltrans will close the Posey Tube (SR-260) overnight between Alameda and Oakland for biennial inspections and routine tube maintenance.

During the closures, crews will conduct scheduled biennial inspections and routine maintenance inside the Posey Tube.
Motorists traveling from Alameda to Oakland should use the Park Street Bridge, Fruitvale Avenue Bridge, or High Street Bridge as alternate routes.
The Webster Tube, which carries traffic from Oakland into Alameda, will remain open. Caltrans thanks motorists for their patience while crews perform this necessary inspection and maintenance work. Please allow extra travel time and follow posted detour signs.
