Correction to Public Notice Regarding Commissioner Vacancy

JOSEPHINE COUNTY, Ore. -The Josephine County Board of Commissioners wishes to inform the public that the previously issued notice regarding the vacancy for County Commissioner was not posted in a manner that meets statutory public notice requirements. This procedural issue was recently brought to the County's attention, and the Board is taking immediate steps to correct it.

Because the initial posting did not satisfy the required standards, any application submitted under the prior notice cannot be accepted as part of the official selection process.

A revised and fully compliant notice will be published at a future date. Members of the public who remain interested in being considered for the Commissioner position will need to reapply during the new application window specified in the corrected notice.
