Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus E.Shestakov meets Ambassador of Venezuela
18 June 2026On 18 June 2026, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Evgeny Shestakov, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Republic of Belarus, Franklin Ramírez Araque, on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in our country.
The meeting was held in a spirit of trust and mutual understanding.
The parties engaged in a substantive discussion on key areas of Belarusian-Venezuelan cooperation and outlined plans for its further strengthening in fields of mutual interest.
The Venezuelan Ambassador expressed condolences on behalf of his country's leadership regarding the tragic bus incident carrying Belarusian citizens in the Bryansk Region of the Russian Federation. For his part, Evgeny Shestakov conveyed to his counterpart the Belarusian side's position on this matter.
The Deputy Minister thanked the head of the Venezuelan diplomatic mission in Minsk for his personal contribution to the development of Belarusian-Venezuelan relations and wished him further success in his professional career.
