WASHINGTON, D.C. - Following updates to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure leadership, Congressman David Rouzer (R-NC-07) issued the statement below after being named chairman of the Subcommittee on Highways and Transit. "Having been a member of the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure since I was elected to Congress and serving on the Subcommittee on Highways and Transit for six years, I understand the Subcommittee's importance in developing policies to connect communities, drive economic growth and ensure safer, more sustainable travel," said Congress Rouzer. "As the Committee addresses surface transportation reauthorization, I am eager to continue working with Chairman Graves and my colleagues in the 119th Congress.
