Park Improvement Projects at Three Garden Grove Parks Underway

The City of Garden Grove is beginning construction on improvements at three neighborhood parks, including Jardín de los Niños Park, Haster Basin Park and West Haven Park. The projects are tentatively scheduled for completion by the end of summer 2026.

The final park improvement project designs include the following:

• Jardín de los Niños Park, located at 12534 Keel Avenue, will receive a new playground surface and playground equipment.
• Haster Basin Park, located at 12592 Lampson Avenue, will receive a new playground surface and playground equipment, as well as a new restroom building.
• West Haven Park, located at 12252 West Street, will receive a new restroom building.

The park improvements are part of the City's Capital Improvement Plan and priorities outlined in the 15-year Parks and Facilities Master Plan. The projects are partially funded by a $1 million dollar grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Community Project Funding program.
