UFG appoints Michael Shneibaum as VP and middle market business unit leader


UFG Insurance is pleased to announce that Michael Shneibaum has been appointed vice president (VP) and middle market business unit leader, effective immediately. In this role, Shneibaum will have full strategic accountability for the company's middle market business, driving profitable growth across its 32-state footprint spanning coast to coast.

"Michael has delivered exceptional results during his time at UFG, and I am confident in his ability to execute an underwriting strategy that will drive continued profitable growth across our middle market business unit," said UFG Senior VP and Chief Underwriting Officer Kelly Walsh. "He is a proven and passionate leader with deep underwriting expertise and strong agency partnerships that position him well for success in this role."

Michael joined UFG in 2023, serving as Southeast regional leader prior to this appointment. He has over 30 years of industry experience and a strong track record as an underwriting leader.
