Automotive Communications Council Awards 2026 Scholarship to Ryan Boyer

BETHESDA, Md. - July 15, 2026 - The Automotive Communications Council (ACC), a community of the Auto Care Association, is proud to announce Ryan Boyer as the inaugural ACC Scholarship recipient. The $2,500 scholarship is annually awarded to a student pursuing a career within the automotive aftermarket industry, helping to cover the cost of tuition, fees, or book expenses at any accredited college or university, or any ASE/NATEF certified post-secondary vocational/technical training school for the recipient.

ACC's 2026 Scholarship Recipient Career Goals and Plans

Ryan Boyer plans to attend Fairleigh Dickenson University in Madison, New Jersey, with a course of study in business.

"I'm incredibly honored to be selected as a scholarship recipient," said Boyer. This support not only helps me move closer to my goals in the automotive industry, but also motivates me to continue working hard and making a meaningful impact in everything I pursue."

"Ryan's passion, determination and commitment to building a career in our industry made him an outstanding choice for the ACC's inaugural scholarship," said Sheila Sarkozi, vice chair, ACC. "Supporting the next generation of automotive leaders is one of the most meaningful investments we can make at ACC, and we're honored to help Ryan take this next step toward his future."

Developing Future Industry Leaders

The ACC Scholarship program is one of the many University of the Aftermarket scholarships available to students looking to have a career in the automotive aftermarket and commercial vehicle industry. Over $900,000 in scholarships was awarded for the 2026-27 academic year to students enrolled in four-year and two-year colleges as well as ASE/NATEF- certified automotive, collision and heavy-duty/diesel post-secondary programs. Students are considered for hundreds of scholarship opportunities from over 40 different organizations by filling out just one application.
