DeLauro to Undergo Surgery to Treat Spinal Stenosis
U.S. Rep. Rosa DeLauro (CT-03), is in Griffin Hospital for surgery today to treat Spinal Stenosis, "a common treatment for a common occurrence", according to Dr. Judith L. Gorelick, a board-certified neurosurgeon, who will be performing the procedure.
As is routine for such surgery, physical therapy will follow. Rep. DeLauro will resume her schedule while physical therapy continues and return to DC when Congress reconvenes in September.
