NTCA Supports Changes to FCC’s Network Modernization Rules
(March 15) In a meeting with staff to FCC Chairman Brendan Carr, NTCA staff applauded the elimination of outdated regulatory barriers to network modernization poised for adoption at the commission's March open meeting. NTCA offered suggestions for amendments to the Draft Order to protect rural consumers, preserve access to reliable voice services and enable NTCA members to transition further to IP-enabled services.
