Assystem supports Orano in the urbanisation of the information system dedicated to the worksite of the ‘Aval du futur’ project

Orano has charged Assystem with the urbanisation of the information system dedicated to the worksite for its Aval du Futur (AdF) project. This assignment involves defining an overarching architecture and planning the implementation of the information system throughout the site works and construction phases. It will help prepare for the management of future on-site activities in an environment characterised by stringent requirements for security, traceability, stakeholder coordination and interface management.

The scope includes site clearance, site preparation, site infrastructure, the environment, access, remote sites and logistics.

An assignment structured in two stages

During the first stage of the project, Assystem's teams will analyse and model the construction site business processes. This initial stage will identify stakeholders, their roles, the data used, information flows and the types of applications to be implemented.

Assystem will also conduct benchmarking studies to compare existing practices, target requirements and solutions available on the market. These analyses will help prioritise use cases and inform Orano's decisions.

The second stage will focus on defining the target architecture, urbanisation scenarios and integration principles, taking into account Orano's IT, network and cybersecurity constraints. A transformation roadmap, together with its associated budget, will then support the planning of the phased implementation of the information system over the coming years.

Ensuring a robust digital transformation of the construction site

Assystem's support will enable Orano to anticipate the structuring of the information system required for future construction phases and make informed decisions on architecture and digital investments.

The approach will also help reduce integration risks and the proliferation of tools. It will lay the foundations for a sustainable digital environment supporting the performance, traceability and governance of the construction site.

This new assignment builds on the trusted partnership developed over several years between Assystem and Orano to support transformation across the nuclear industry. It also draws on Assystem's experience in digital transformation and the digitalisation of construction activities.
