DLA hosts free training for prospective businesses

Defense Logistics Agency Weapons Support Office of Small Business Programs gives businesses the boost they need to thrive in the DLA ecosystem and the greater defense marketplace.

The DLA Weapons Support OSBP does that through free training, advice, guidance and strategies to maximize opportunities for businesses to participate in DLA's acquisition program both as prime contractors and subcontractors.

Training courses are offered on a wide variety of topics to provide businesses a free forum to gain knowledge and real-time assistance in navigating the world of federal contracting.

Current offerings include:

Free Training, Knowledge, and Opportunities seminar: This two-day course is a highly interactive look into a variety of processes like quoting on the DLA Internet and Bid Board System, accessing DLA technical data and drawings, how to use the Invoicing, Receipt, Acceptance and Property Transfer tool and the Vendor Shipment Module (packaging and shipping).
