Upcoming Turn Restrictions Affecting SanTan Village Shopping Areas
Gilbert, Ariz. - Beginning July 30 and continuing for approximately four weeks, intersection restrictions will be in effect 24/7 at Williams Field Road and Market Street, affecting access into the SanTan Village shopping areas. Digital message boards will be posted in the area with suggested detour routes for reaching the mall.
These intersection improvements are part of an active capital improvement project for the Town of Gilbert, designed to alleviate congestion and enhance safety at the intersection.
Motorists are encouraged to use Santan Village Parkway to enter the mall area and avoid the Williams Field/Market Street intersection when possible. Work is expected to be completed by the end of August, at which point turn lane access will be restored.
Travelers along Williams Field Road and Market Street should expect delays throughout this period. Drivers are urged to allow extra travel time and follow all posted signage in the area.
