La Mirada residents are reminded that the City offers a cooling center at the Activity Center, located at 13810 La Mirada Boulevard. High temperatures are expected Thursday, August 7 and Friday, August 8. The cooling center is open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Splash! also offer free recreational swim from 12 to 3 p.m. For additional information regarding the cooling center or Splash!, call (562) 943-7277.
