MEMA ALERT: Information Update - Structure Fire On Maui Island Extinguished

MEMA ALERT: INFORMATION UPDATE - STRUCTURE FIRE ON MAUI ISLAND EXTINGUISHED
WHERE: IN THE AREA OF HAIKU ON THE ISLAND OF MAUI

FIRE EXTINGUISHED AT 10:55 AM PER COMMAND.

Kauihikoa Road from Kaupakalua Road to Nohea Place remains closed as fire crews clean up. MPD will open Kauhikoa Road as soon as fire crews finish cleaning up.

The Maui Fire Department (MFD), the Maui Police Department MPD), and the Maui Emergency Management Agency (MEMA), would like to thank the public for your cooperation and understanding which allowed emergency crews to work to protect your community.
