Lake Wheeler Offers Cold Water Paddling Course
Lake Wheeler is offering a free Cold Water Paddling Course on Nov. 9!
The course will be taught by the State Director of ACA North Carolina, William Holden. Mr. Holden is an ACA-certified Swiftwater Rescue, Kayak, and Canoe Instructor.
This course will be part classroom, part on water, and will cover risks, risk mitigation, necessary gear, and in-water techniques. Lake Wheeler offers this course free of charge only once a year. Don't miss this rare opportunity to enjoy being out on the water all year long!
