Holmes Elected to Interim Position on State Association Board
Austin- The Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Board of Directors has elected Marques Homes of Humble ISD to an interim position on the TASB Board, representing TASB Region 4, Position A.
Holmes was first elected to the Humble ISD Board of Trustees in May 2023 and is currently board president. He is passionate about coaching and mentoring young adults and youths and does leadership training for students. He also enjoys being a volunteer coach for youth sports.
A telecom infrastructure management consultant, Holmes works across South Texas and Louisiana. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University.
In addition to his school board service, he is a member of Leadership Houston Class XXVIII and a member of Leadership Lake Houston, Class X.
