On 13 November 2025, Her Excellency Yan Jiarong, Chinese Ambassador to The Bahamas met with Mr. David Leigh, newly appointed Editor-in-Chief of The Tribune, the newspaper with the largest circulation in The Bahamas. The two sides exchanged views on China-Bahamas media cooperation, the public opinion in The Bahamas as well as international and regional issues that both sides are interested in.
