Rapides Regional Medical Center's Infectious Diseases Pharmacist Jordan Alexander, PharmD, was recently named the 2026 Hospital Pharmacist of the Year by the Louisiana Pharmacists Association.

They also exemplify high professional standards and make significant contributions to their practice setting and the profession of pharmacy.

"Jordan is an outstanding pharmacist who consistently goes above and beyond to help our patients," said Danielle Bryant, Pharm D, BCPS, Director of Pharmacy at Rapides Regional Medical Center. "She is reliable, knowledgeable and a true team player. We are thrilled that she is being recognized on a state level for the hard work she puts in every day here at Rapides Regional Medical Center."

Hospital-based pharmacists make up almost one-third of all licensed pharmacists in Louisiana.

Jordan was honored at the LPA annual convention in Shreveport/Bossier City in mid-July.
