Phone conversation between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and the French Minister Delegate for Europe

On June 24 Vahan Kostanyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia held a telephone conversation with Benjamin Haddad, minister delegate for European affairs in the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.

Benjamin Haddad congratulated the Deputy Foreign Minister on the successful holding of the parliamentary elections in Armenia in accordance with high democratic standards, as well as on the victory achieved in the elections.

The interlocutors touched upon joint efforts aimed at further strengthening the strategic partnership between Armenia and France, emphasizing the importance of the consistent implementation of the priorities and initiatives enshrined in the Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership signed by the leaders of the two countries. In this context, special emphasis was placed on promoting business ties, expanding investment cooperation, and increasing the volume of bilateral trade between Armenia and France.

The parties also exchanged views on the Armenia-European Union partnership agenda, addressing steps aimed at expanding Armenia's access to the European market, as well as discussed initiatives aimed at enhancing regional connectivity and reviewed recent developments in this context.
