The City of Hemet Celebrates the Success of the Independence Drone Show Sponsored by the Hemet Auto

HEMET, CA - On Saturday, July 5, 2025, the City of Hemet in partnership with the Hemet Auto Mall Association proudly hosted the Inaugural Independence Drone Show. This one-of-a-kind celebration brought together thousands of community members and visitors from surrounding cities for an unforgettable evening of entertainment, connection, and patriotic pride.

The event hosted on Auto Mall Drive went from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and featured over 30 food trucks with a wide variety of incredible dining options, alongside vendor booths, interactive games, crafts, and a DJ. Attendees enjoyed walking around the venue, enjoying delicious food, and settling in as the sun set for the night's main attraction.

City officials, dignitaries, and Hemet Auto Mall executives welcomed attendees with opening remarks, highlighting the incredible partnership between the City and the Auto Mall. Together, they reflected on the collaborative efforts that brought the event to life in just a few weeks and their shared commitment to strengthening community ties while celebrating our nation's independence.

At 9:00 p.m., the night sky over Hemet was illuminated by a breathtaking drone light show featuring 156 drones. The dazzling display included images honoring the City of Hemet, the Hemet Auto Mall, and iconic patriotic symbols, captivating the crowd and creating a sense of unity and pride.

The City of Hemet extends its deepest gratitude to all who made this event possible, including the Hemet Auto Mall Association, participating vendors, Hemet Police and Fire Departments, volunteers, and, most importantly, the residents who came out to celebrate together.

This event marks the beginning of a new chapter for the City of Hemet and sets the tone for more innovative and inclusive community celebrations in the years to come.
