Since 2022, the TLU Food Pantry has been addressing food insecurity on campus by offering everything from fresh ingredients for meals to snacks and drinks, not to mention school supplies and hygiene products. Up until recently, the pantry, located in Clifton Hall, had limited hours, but now it's open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
"The pantry is an essential resource on our campus," says Director of Student Engagement Tiffany Espinoza. "For students facing food insecurity, having consistent, 24/7 access to nutritious options can make a significant difference in their well-being and ability to thrive at TLU."
All students are granted access to the pantry after filling out the necessary form, which can be found on both the TLU Portal and Connect@TLU. Once the form is completed, the student will receive key card access to the pantry within 24 hours.
"The food pantry operates entirely through donations, and we're incredibly grateful for all contributions," says Espinoza. Those who would like to donate can visit the pantry's page on the TLU website, where they'll find an Amazon wish list for needed items.
