Summer Avenue Intersection Closing for Utility and Drainage Work
Memphis, TN - The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) advises motorists of an upcoming roadway closure as part of the ongoing construction on Summer Avenue. To facilitate the underground utility and drainage improvements, Summer Trees Drive will be temporarily closed beginning Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
The closure is expected to remain in place through the end of April 2026, weather permitting.
A detour route will be implemented during the closure to maintain traffic flow and ensure the safety of motorists, pedestrians, and construction crews. Detour signage will be posted in advance and maintained throughout the work.
