Commissioner Director's third Wellness Challenge is underway for County employees

FREEHOLD, NJ - On behalf of the Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners, Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone has announced the latest Director's Wellness Challenge, which includes a daily movement and hydration goal.

This initiative encourages County employees to improve their health and wellness by completing 7,500 steps per day and drinking 64 ounces of water daily for at least 20 days between August 15 and September 15, 2025.

"Our last Challenge increased the number of steps per day from 5,000 to 7,500, so for this Challenge, we decided to add a hydration factor, "said Commissioner Director Arnone. "Daily movement and proper hydration are essential for maintaining physical health, boosting energy, supporting digestion and enhancing mental clarity. I look forward to cheering on our employees as they participate in this fun health initiative."
