Minister of Foreign Affairs to pay an official visit to the Republic of Singapore

On 21 - 22 October 2025, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs, will pay an official visit to the Republic of Singapore on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Singapore.

The Foreign Minister will hold a bilateral meeting with H.E. Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Singapore, and pay a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Lawrence Wong, Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore. These meetings will focus on ways to advance cooperation between Thailand and Singapore in all dimensions, especially in trade and investment cooperation in high-value sectors and future industries. Both sides are also expected to discuss regional and international issues of mutual interest. The Foreign Minister will also meet with representatives from Singapore's private sector to attract more investment from Singapore.

In addition, the Foreign Minister will jointly preside over the 15th Civil Service Exchange Programme (CSEP) with the Foreign Minister of Singapore. Initiated in 1997, CSEP is a key bilateral framework under the Singapore - Thailand Enhanced Partnership (STEP) and has served as a platform for Thai and Singaporean civil servants to exchange best practices and advance collaborative projects of mutual interest. The 15th CSEP wil be held under the theme "Partners in Progress, Shaping a Green and Digital Future," reflecting a forward-looking partnership and promotes cooperation in emerging sectors.
