County Executive Adam Bello Invites Monroe County Residents To Winterfest 2025 At Mendon Ponds Park

Monroe County Executive Adam Bello today invited Monroe County residents to Winterfest this Saturday, January 25 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This popular family event is filled with free activities for people of all ages throughout the park, including wagon rides from Heberle Stables, a performance by University of Rochester's After Hours A Cappella, a visit from the Rochester Red Wings' mascots Spikes and Mittsy, plus a variety of kids activities.

"Monroe County Winterfest is the perfect way to enjoy the winter weather and explore the natural beauty of one of our most popular parks," said County Executive Bello. "Come join us for a day of family fun, including wagon rides, snow shoeing, food vendors, and live entertainment!"

New this year are the Winterfest Hot Cocoa Races hosted by Fleet Feet and YellowJacket Racing. The races will begin at 10 a.m. from Stewart Lodge and will consist of a Trail 5k, a Road 5k, and a 1⁄2 mile Children's Race.
