STATEMENT: Rep. Min Denounces Islamophobic Online Threats Against the Islamic Center of Irvine

Irvine, CA - Representative Dave Min (CA-47) released the following statement denouncing the Islamophobic online threats against the Islamic Center of Irvine (ICOI):

"The online threats of violence against the Islamic Center of Irvine are unacceptable, and we must call this out together. Hate has no place in Irvine, Orange County, or anywhere else. Unfortunately, we are seeing a steep rise in Islamophobia across the country. With incidents of Islamophobia increasing across the country, we must swiftly confront hate and reject baseless conspiracy theories targeting the Muslim community.

ICOI is a pillar of Orange County, creating a safe environment for our Muslim neighbors while also being a beacon for interfaith connection and collaboration. I stand with ICOI during this difficult time."
