NEW YORK - May 15, 2026 - AMC Global Media released today the premiere date and a first-look teaser for the highly-anticipated third season of The Walking Dead: Dead City. Starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan as fan-favorite characters "Negan" and "Maggie," the compelling new season premieres Sunday, July 26 on AMC and AMC+.

In season three, Maggie (Cohan) and Negan (Morgan) finally put aside their differences to build the first thriving community in Manhattan since the apocalypse, but when chaos in the city begins to arise, they are forced to question: have they learned from their old wounds or will their dark past spell doom for the entire city?

In addition to Cohan and Morgan, season three also stars Jimmi Simpson, Raúl Castillo, Aimee Garcia, Logan Kim and Michael Emery.
