MINISTER OF FOREIGN RELATIONS H.E. MS. BATSETSEG BATMUNKH MEETS WITH DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER AND MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF VIETNAM H.E. MR. BUI THANH SON

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Her Excellency Ms. Battsetseg Batmunkh met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam His Excellency Mr. Bui Thanh Son on the margins of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly on 24 September 2024.

During the meeting, Foreign Minister Ms. Battsetseg Batmunkh remarked that this year Mongolia and Viet Nam, an important partner to Mongolia in Southeast Asia, mark the 70^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and further emphasized that the existing traditionally friendly relations between the two countries have been successfully developing and strengthening based on the "Principle of Friendship and Cooperation".

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam Mr. Bui Thanh Son expressed his active cooperation in the implementation of a high-level visit to Mongolia within the framework of the 70^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

In addition, both sides exchanged views on finalizing the Joint Declaration on Strengthening the Comprehensive Partnership between Mongolia and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and within this framework have discussed further in practical implementation of cooperation in the fields such as culture, tourism, trade and investment between the two countries.
