MTU Maintenance Hannover and Eagle Services Asia are the first to receive GTF MRO Network Awards in honor of their commitment and achievements as part of the GTF MRO network

RZESZÓW, Poland (November 3, 2025) - Pratt & Whitney celebrated the inaugural GTF MRO Network Awards, initiated during Pratt & Whitney's centennial year. MTU Maintenance Hannover received the Operational Excellence Award and Pratt & Whitney Eagle Services Asia (ESA) received the Collaborative Excellence Award. These awards highlight the outstanding work underway as engine centers within the network deliver on the commitment to support GTF customers.

Increasing MRO output is key to ensuring the health of the GTF fleet, and network shops are making notable progress. As reported during RTX's Q3 earnings, MRO output for the PW1100G-JM engine is up 21% year-to-date and is expected to reach about 30% for the full year. Increased material flow - including isothermal forgings and structural castings - has enabled a record number of engine overhauls in 2025.

MTU Maintenance Hannover received the Operational Excellence Award for outstanding performance. Year-to-date, the team has reduced average turnaround time on heavy engine overhauls by 25% and maintained a consistently high-quality signature, with zero quality escapes recorded during 2025. The facility joined the GTF MRO network in 2015 as one of the first three locations to provide maintenance services for the PW1100G-JM engine. MTU also provides PW1100G-JM MRO at MTU Maintenance Zhuhai in China, and MRO services for the entire GTF engine family at EME Aero, its joint venture with Lufthansa Technik.

MTU Maintenance Hannover joined the GTF MRO network in 2015.

Pratt & Whitney's Eagle Services Asia (ESA) received the Collaborative Excellence Award. The ESA team was recognized for sharing process and tooling expertise with engine centers across the network. ESA hosted site visits to showcase automation systems like Alfred, the robot that has cut assembly time in half for PW1100G-JM high-pressure compressor rotors. The ESA team assisted several shops in the acquisition of similar automation systems to improve safety, efficiency and cost. ESA, a joint venture between SIA Engineering Company and Pratt & Whitney, has been a member of the GTF MRO network since 2019.
