Route Y in Pemiscot County Reduced for Asphalt Overlay
SIKESTON- Route Y in Pemiscot County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as construction crews perform an asphalt overlay.
This section of roadway is located from I-155 to County Road 553 near Caruthersville, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Aug. 24 through Monday, Sept. 28 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. As construction is underway, flaggers will be present, and traffic will be guided through the work zone by a pilot car.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
