Senator Warren Statement on September 2025 PCE

Washington, D.C. - Today, U.S. Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Ranking Member of the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee, released the following statement on the delayed release of the September 2025 PCE report:

"Today's report is already outdated as we head into the Federal Open Market Committee meeting next week. For a second time, the Federal Reserve will make a decision on rate cuts that impact every American household without current data on jobs and inflation. Donald Trump promised to lower costs on 'day one.' Instead his reckless tariffs and failed economic policies are driving up prices and hammering the labor market."
