In libraries across the country, September is Library Card Sign-Up Month . The Marion County Public Library System is ready to help you sign up for your free card at any of its 10 branches. As a special bonus this month, our community partners are offering discounts to all library card holders, in addition to the following resources:
* Books, magazines, and large print books
* DVDs, CDs, and audiobooks
* Downloadable e-books and audiobooks
* Genealogy and Florida family history resources
* Online databases, including magazines and newspapers
* Blood pressure machines
* Seeds to grow your very own garden!
Through the generosity of our community partners, with your library card, you can also enjoy the following discounts through the month of September:
* World Equestrian Center, 10 percent off dine-in purchases at Viola & Dot's Italian Kitchen & Pizzeria, Filo's Mexican Cantina, Ralph's Burger & Sandwich Shop and Miss Tilly's Lollipops
* Appleton Museum of Art, 50 percent off admission
* Marion County Museum of History and Archaeology, free admission
* Reilly Arts Center, 10 percent off tickets to an Ocala Symphony Orchestra concert this season
