Former Two-Time Safe Streets Featured Criminal Arrested
On April 1, 2025, at approximately 2:04 A.M., officers were dispatched to the intersection of 7th St. and Greenwood Ave. on a report of an unconscious male behind the wheel of a dark-colored sedan, with a gun visible on the passenger seat.
Officers strategically surrounded the vehicle, effectively immobilizing it. An officer instructed the driver to exit the vehicle. The suspect initially attempted to evade officers; however, after a short time, he surrendered without further incident.
Upon arrest, officers located a stolen firearm and drug paraphernalia in the suspect's possession. In addition, he had an active felony warrant for Contempt of Court which included Controlled Substance - Special Offender - Deadly Weapon, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute Scheduled I,II, Possession of a Controlled Substance Scheduled I,II,III,VI,V, and Possession of a Controlled Substance - Fentanyl.
Jordan Aldaz, 34, who was previously featured on the Safe Streets Wanted list twice, was transported to the Pueblo County Detention Center and is facing multiple charges including Contempt of Court, Vehicular Eluding, reckless Driving, Drove Vehicle -Habitual Traffic Offender, Possession of a Weapon by a Previous Offender (POWPO), Restraining Order Violation, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Theft.
