Norman Police Investigate Shooting on Woodcrest Drive
April 23, 2025
The Norman Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 200 block of Woodcrest Drive at approximately 1:45 p.m. on April 23. Once on scene, officers located one injured individual. The individual was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The initial investigation determined that the other individual involved accidentally discharged the firearm hitting the other individual. Both individuals involved are juveniles.
The incident remains under investigation by the NPD Criminal Investigations Division.
