SCO National Coordinators Hold a Meeting in Tashkent

On June 16-19, 2026, a regular meeting of the Council of National Coordinators (CNC) of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Member States was held in Tashkent under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz side.

The meeting participants discussed a wide range of issues related to the further development of cooperation within the SCO and the preparation for the meetings of the Council of Heads of State, the Council of Heads of Government (Prime Ministers), and the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the SCO Member States, as well as for other events in the Organisation's schedule for the current year.

They paid particular attention to issues of improving the SCO's activities and its treaty and legal framework.

Discussions were held on Member States' initiatives in the areas of politics, security, trade, transport and logistics, digitalisation and artificial intelligence, energy, ecology, healthcare, education, culture, and other fields.
