Time Out for the Red Cross: a charity market open to the USI community

On Tuesday, 16 December 2025, the West Campus Lugano will host a charity market in collaboration with the Swiss Red Cross: an opportunity to support charitable initiatives, breathe new life into objects, and enjoy the day in a spirit of sharing.

The USI Sports Service will provide skiing equipment - skis, boots, poles, snowboard boots, etc. - which can be purchased at nominal prices.

All proceeds will be donated to the Swiss Red Cross, Sottoceneri Section (CRSS), with payment possible in cash or via TWINT.

Next to the stand, there will also be a Refashion box for collecting clothes, toys and school supplies for the CRSS.

USI Community will also have the opportunity to bring their own items to sell during the day: the proceeds will be donated directly to the Red Cross.

Programme

10 am - 5 pm Charity market and Refashion box

4 pm - 6 pm Snacks and festive greetings

CRSS operators will be present throughout the day at an information point with dedicated literature. During the day, you will have the chance to win a USI-branded prize by taking part in the quiz "How well do you know USI?".
