Final Report Regarding the September 16, 2024 Death of Eric Rexford in Littleton, New Hampshire

Concord, NH - Attorney General John M. Formella and New Hampshire State Police Colonel Mark B. Hall announce that the Department of Justice has completed its investigation into the shooting death of Eric Rexford (age 38), in Littleton, New Hampshire on September 16, 2024.

The final investigation report concludes that based on all the facts and circumstances known to investigators, Shane L. Miller (age 44) was legally justified in the use of deadly force when he shot Mr. Rexford as Rexford advanced upon Mr. Miller after Rexford immobilized Mr. Miller's car by repeatedly ramming the car in various locations throughout Littleton as he chased Mr. Miller. Accordingly, no charges will be filed against Mr. Miller in connection to Mr. Rexford's death.
